Fuel Lines / Stainless Fuel Hoses - £219.99

Postby bandit » Wed Aug 18, 2010 2:58 pm

If anyone is interested in the fuel lines made in braided stainless, from the metering head, I could have these done no problem & they would be at a decent price.
If there is any interest, let me know. Also if anyone has a spare set, even if they are no good, just to use as a pattern that would be great.
Jules

EDIT: HERE IT IS -

All the small lines are clear coated, the larger ones are bare braided stainless. 11 lines in total.
These include: 6 injector lines, 2 lines to the pressure reg, the one from the cold start valve and also the 2 large lines for feed and return to the tank.

The clear coating can be any colour if requested (generally no extra price, but will be made to order).

The 2 FV ones are not included in this kit, because to do it properly you will need to send me your FV so that the new lines can be attached properly - but they can be done no problem.

From what I have seen happen to the "upgraded" flexi lines on other cars, it would definitely be worth getting a few sets of the "3 hoses" - fuel tank supply/return and accumulator - in braided. Are these the ones you mean?

If these are what Arran said (3 hoses from the fuel pump to the hard lines) i am interested too. This season my lines lost all their rubber mantles and need to be replaced. On the plus side these lines will never corrode, but on the bad side they're hidden behind an access cover.

I was talking about the ones under the bonnet from the metering head to the injectors etc, but whatever, if people want the other too, I can do 'em no sweat.

All depending on the pricing of course; I heard the connections to the hard lines were tough to do/change because of risking breaking them.
