Spoke to him yesterday, at home, as it happens, cos of this friggin' snow. We've had about 2 bloody foot of the stuff &it's still cumin like the clappers

Should be OK Matt, if airports open, Lisa has bin' gettin' out in her 4 x 4, but I'm not goin to work at the un-Godly hour of 7am, so I stopped at home.

Got some questions on the lines. I tried removing the old ones but one needs a bit more soak in WD to get unstuck. Almost broke the support bracket..

Anyway, here's a pic of the old and the new lines. I tried a fit but it seems that the 6-side bit is too short. The original are at least 9mm and the new ones are only 4mm thick. This way, the hose will spin in the socket. Almost impossible to tighten up because they keep spinning.

Hi Rob,

I know Julian is out of the country till Monday, when he's back im sure he will be able to advise but Im sure Malc and Jules changed their brake lines the other weekend without any issues?

Count yourselves lucky, took me all week to remove the old ones on the front only.

Anyhow I ground of the fixed nuts on the brackets so I can use 2 spanners to tighten them, and the new ones are all tightened up now. The rears will have to wait until autumn.
