Just returned from a trip to Laon in France for the 19th Circuit Historic event which was just superb. There were about 450 cars from all eras and makers and just the one Delorean. I have never known such a reception for any car I have ever owned - the crowd were literally cheering every time the Delorean reappeared around the parade circuit (which incidentally allowed us to hammer the car round a series of 'S' bend roads - it sure does shift!) and they definitely did not do that for any of the other cars. I must have had about 100 people in and out of the car wanting photographs and a constant stream of photographers and curious onlookers surrounding it at all times. I was even stopped by the police and customs just because they wanted a closer look and a chance to sit in it! It was superb and reinforced the fact, that we all know, that a Delorean is just the coolest, most popular car you can get - and most definitively a classic in the truest sense that sits right next to the fabulous exotics that were there that had no impact on the crowd as a whole. 'Vive La France' and 'Vive La Delorean!' That's what I say!!
