They are referring to John Denny's car which was sold at Brooklands last month. Regardless of the mileage, John's old car was in better condition than this one.
Plus it's hardly comparing apples to apples when John's had a complete interior in excellent condition, along with excellent stainless and decent panel fit. The one for sale here on the other hand has questionable panel fit, along with worn interior trim and missing headliners.
Oh dear. If the guy thinks that DeLorean value is determined by mileage over condition that would explain why he's not managed to sell the car at that price yet! The nubbin hasn't realised that mileage is DESIRABLE on one of these!
