Well! As the starter of this thread, my intention is only to show my work to other D-owners, and to get comments on my work good as well as bad. I don't want it to be a auto vs. manual discussion, so I might as well stop it before it's really getting started. I don't care whether it's the one or the other, but please take that discussion eleswhere ;-)

Did my 3.rd startup today.

It started right up after sitting several weeks since 2.nd startup
Problems solved:
No valve ticking (valves adjusted)
No leaking exhaust manifold (new gasket, and fixing a broken stud - last thing was a real pain)
No leaking vaterpump. (Actually changed the pump tvice. The first one i got had a faulty inner bearing. Ed send me a new pump, and apologized for the inconvenience. That was nice of him)
Bled the coolant and ran a full cycle with engine heating up fans starting, and stopping again

I'm so happy....and what a nice idle sound! :D

OMG it's been one year since my last post. Time flies!
VIN 1255 finally went on the road for the first time. What a joy that was :-)

Yes I did, and I was happy how well it drove. Only thing was that it pulled a little to the left, so a little adjusting of the steering is needed.

Yeah, you say that, but that's why chose the auto, right??? there's no need to be modest, you made the right decision!!!!
you'll find that the manual boys get bored after 7 -8 years and then sell them on claiming it's time to do something else, but the auto owners always hang on to there cars, because, quite frankly they are better.

... Very true, 15-years and counting for me, in 2019 I'll have spent more of my life with a delorean than without one, now that's a scary thought
