This is now advertised ont he official DMC website? so presumably they are actually going to make this thing?

I think there is more chance of me making it.
Actually - that could work! Dan on shims, Nick on k-jet, Al on the gearbox, TT on dizzy caps, Carl on the cooling system - what could possibly go wrong?!
