The Reinz seal has a small ribbed outter seal and a double lip inner seal but also the metal ring is half exposed. Looks like it will do the job and better than a standard seal so I will be using this one. Therefore my warning is not to buy it off eBay as you are likely to get a fake or cheap copy.

For info, Tim is no longer working for Kimber. His replacement is Nick (who was very helpful with my recent purchase of the Victor Reinz seal 81-183044-00)
