An interesting watch, I don't think that it is the kind of film/documentary which would benefit from the big screen, download it on Netflix later this month, it's a very niche market, I'd be surprised if it saw any big screen action in the UK TBH.

It made me appreciate that I am far more interested in the car and the people around it than John Z himself.

Agreed. JZD doesnt come across a nice man in the film really. It was mostly an image. Still, for me its all about the car and the community.

The only uk cinema im aware of is the prince charles in london in china town.

Ok

The digital release date is the 29th July

Prince Charles is hosting some preview screenings the week before but they are the only cinema doing so so they cannot quote their dates for the release.

Well saw the film today. Was cool seeing it on a bigger screen. Not only that but i got to met director of purchasing Barrie Wills and financial controller David Adams. It was a pleasure meeting them and barrie giving me a little audio commentary throughout the film. Very nice chaps indeed.

Nice! I got to see the film on the big screen out here in JZD's hometown of Detroit where I am at the moment. Unusual narrative structure but I thought it worked well - very much worth seeing.
