Personally I think ...no :)

Its not like a modern engine with 3 litres or less of oil in it either

speak to Mr Shane about that one, he knackered an engine due to oil starvation going round the Nurburgring

Oh yes I do remember that

I over filled the oil by a litre and still managed to send all of the oil to the top of the right hand head and spun all of the main bearing shell's ! Cost a grand to get the bucket home. Mind you I did go into both Carousel's rather than stay out of them so I guess it was my fault

As I side note I managed a 9 minutes and 23 seconds lap in a hired vw polo max diesel !

Haha!
So what's the story Paolo? What have they done to the engine? And are they hoping to go fast?

Engine, from the outside, is pretty stock, apart from the oil cooler we can see on the right side of the pontoon and the cold air intake on the same side, with water drain in the wheel arch.
No superchargers and no turbochargers at all: engine is naturally aspired.
What has been really changed is chassis and brakes: strong reinforcements underside, in case of accidents; LCA with "A" shape due to custom made reinforcements, vented front brakes and so on.
The red switch in the middle of the console is the main electrical switch. The other one is on the right side of the hood and you can reach it from the outside. Battery has been relocated in the front trunk and enclosed in a plastic box, as prescribed by regulations.
Seat is nice  but closing the door, with the 6 points safety belt, won't be an easy job
Every body panel fitted to the car is not perfect, since some accidents may happen to the car during the race. VIN is 115XX
Target is to give visibility to the car: nuerburgring classic race is not really the target, aiming instead to smaller competitions.

Wolfgang has another very interesting project: the replica of the golden delorean, with translucent spray job, instead of gold plating.

Yes, I like it too! The matt edition is much better than the high-gloss one.
I was pretty confident that Wolfgang would have followed the "wrapping" way, using a gold coloured adhesive foil.
Instead, it's a real paint job! It's pretty expensive, but the adhesion seems really strong.
Here you can see the difference between the matt area and the high-gloss area

This is the wrecked car that will become the golden replica delorean

Just to show you what sort of nice items you can see at his shop, take a look at how he has the dashboard refurbished: this is a top class job!
