Hi guys,

Thought it was about time I made a formal introduction post as I've been lurking here for quite some time. A couple of you will know me from the barrage of emails that we've exchanged over the last year, thank's to you for all your help and advice, really appreciate it and hope I didn't bother you too much.

As for me, as the username suggests, my name is Mike. I'm 25 and live near Windsor in Surrey, and work for a car rental company (IT side though).

I've always pictured owning a DeLorean since I was a small kid, and late last year I took the plunge and bought a DeLorean from the US. Vin #4708, a grey interior, manual, is a one owner car from new, spent it's life in California and from the looks it, the car has always been garaged kept as the interior is in immaculate condition, as is the exterior. The car was picked up from Southampton docks on Wednesday.

I hope to get along to some of the meet's later in the year, currently trying to sweet talk the other half into a trip to Ireland in May ;)

I've added a few pic's from my trip to Southampton on Wednesday, not all of the D either ;)

Cheers, Mike

Sadly not mate, battery was completely dead, didn't even get any dash lights. So we just got her loaded up, and then hauled her down to the bat cave in Essex :P

It was definately an experience though seeing the car for the first time - and all of the worry I had about if the car would be as described etc was lifted as soon as I saw her :)

For an import that does look good!

I recognise the Chris Huxtable transporter too!

Thanks guys :)

@KMC-DMC, I'm not sure yet, she is up and running now though which is good news. I'm just waiting on the full todo list coming back to me.

And I just got done ordering a set of front springs from Ed. :)
