I actually have one of these, but took it out because a) I thought it weighed too much and I wanted to reduce front downforce, and b) I can get more crap in without it. Mine is in 3/4 inch ply - what are these then?

I must say it does look a much better job than mine! :D

I made one out of hardboard, like the originals. Great quality eh! :lol:

they are only 6mm, and cost for 3 was £15, one of the many ;) any one who wants one let me know but it wont be till june TT

6mm is more than enough - yep. 18mm is total overkill and really affects the 0-60! :lol:

I can't believe you'd settle for hardboard Dan! Is that still flat enough for you?! ;)

Actually its not hardboard I'm being stupid, I used MDF. Its coated with plastic one side so it can be wiped clean as well ;) About 5 or 6mm thick.

yeah but at least you have a 63/37 split now so in theory you can go round corners at 0.00001 mph faster than anyone else due to the extra weight on the front :lol: TT
