But the official reason is to do with broadcast rights and the fact that the BBC is funded by UK residents only, rather than being a commercial enterprise.
You can cheat though Rob and use a proxy server / free IP address hider to make it look like you're in the UK.
That's what I thought too. I just wished there was no censorship like this...
