I think the best I have ever heard was Alistair McCann and Pilot 25, he found it in barn opened the hood and found a pair of overalls with the surname McCann.

I dont know about a dead cat, but I remember the DeLorean in a restaurant basement in Tokyo, that had rats living in the airvents or something.
