The tapers don't lock together for the full length of the taper because the shaft becomes parallel before the full diameter is reached, as shown in Darren's drawing here:
Also the circlip grove is machined in a bad way (on some of his joints) and the dimensions mean you hub will sit higher from your lower arm than it should, making the car very slightly lower and affecting your camber. (Probably doesn't matter too much about the last 2 points because the delorean suspension isn't great for handling anyway
