They also made shocks for the Ford GT40. The Ford GT40 balljoints cross reference to a "Commer Van".

Not a million miles away is the Bedford Van. Doesn't look far out to me! Hard to gauge sizes in these pictures though

Which I think is the same as a Vauxhall Viva (also Victor), which is certainly the cross reference for the upper ball joints:

Makes sense ... think you might be onto something there with the Viva one .. it has the retaining groove too !

I still say they didnt make them just for the D...

Just need to buy one and check it over :)

I have 8 brand new viva ones in my garage right now. Im going to be rebuilding the elise again this winter so I have already got most of the suspension bit ready.

Do you want me to go an take measurements of them ?
