It was a genuine question on the Dartford toll. I was on my own, so had to - not very elegantly - run around the car to pay the man, then he came out with that....! In his defence it was dark!

At WSR last year, Chris Hawes, Rob Williams and I played the "bulls**t answer game". No matter what you're asked, if you've heard the question before, give a bulls**t answer, and see how long you can keep a straight face. The only rule was that you're not allowed to repeat an answer on two seperate people (eg you can only say it's made of aluminium once. I think we got up to "compressed tin and copper alloy" before Chris cracked up) .
Makes car shows a whole lot more entertaining.

I had the Aluminium one a few years ago outside my work. This guy says to me "They're Aluminium arent they?" I said "No", He said "I think they are you know!" WTF? 
Petrol station: Little girl in her early teens with her mates " LOOK!!!! Its knight rider!!!!" How the bloody hell does she even know what Knight Rider is?
Lad outside a supermarket: My mate had one of these. He used to take me and the lads out to skeggy in it.
Me: Oh really. There is only two seats you know.
Lad: What? Is there? Well... his had 4 seats!
