Took the De out to Wickham Square Classic meeting today :D

Heard a new one....

"These gullwing doors were a disaster, when the hydraulic pump fails (there's one inside each door which is how they work) or you have a flat battery you cant open the doors and get locked in or out with hydraulic oil usually spraying all in the interior. Happened to John Delorean himself."

ok so today was definitely the last outing for the D until March or April. Good weather and suitably low grip with is perfect for knuckle draggers like me who like spinning the wheels out of side turnings. I know it is childish but it brings a big smile to the face and makes all the girls knockers fall off, right!?!

Many thumbs up from passing motorists today, but in response to Darren C's comment ... I did have a guy try to say that his mini cooper (BMW) was similar/better. To which most of the people in the pub, laughed at him soo much he had to leave. Free pint from the landlord for me so all worked out well.

Yes of course.

I said it's all to do with how they sound, you can tell in the Back to the Future film that the pumps on its way out as the doors on the movie car are quite loud. In comparison you can see mine are silent.
