I need to post updates on my refurb thread.
In the mean time, having taken the bonnet off, the lights out, I'm now left with the Foam Under bumper - or whatever the heck you call it?
Having looked at other examples mine seems to be in reasonable condition albeit not perfect.

I can easily repair the foam that's damaged - what do you do with the rest of it?
I was thinking mixing up some glass fibre resin with some black pigment and coating it with that ? What do you think - any advice appreciated

Just an update - i've been looking for Stainless Steel M6 captive fixings..... and I found some after much time spent searching .... here they are old one on the left new on the right
