The blocks are fine like you say.
Air out of the front tyres, Autobox in park,handbrake on (literally "brake" as there is only one rear brake currently on the car), I'll get some wooden wedges.
.... I'm only clambering under the car to get rad in, tank in, and pipes run front to back .... when the project moves on to ball joints etc it will be off the blocks - I'm happy with the situation.
