Hi Chris. I guess Mike is best placed to answer your first question, but the intention is for a "laid back" approach, and to ensure everyone has an equal voice. How decisions are handled I suppose depends on the decision to be made, and whether a volunteer can be found to implement the request.
Our event this weekend was attended by over 80 people, and as usual was a real success. Special thanks go to Peter, who - with his great efforts behind the scenes - was able to secure Claudia Wells (Jennifer Parker from BTTF) for Saturday night.
Alistair had 31 EuroTec Polo shirts made up, which we sold all of (at cost), and so I expect we'll look into getting some more stuff made up.
I don't personally expect to be deleting or editing posts - that's not what this forum is supposed to be about. But if you think something has been edited, then please just ask and an explaination will be given. There are currently 3 administrators - me, Mike and "Administrator/Admin-bloke".
Admin-bloke is a "thing" that came with the forum. I saw "it" at the weekend, and we're still not sure where it came from, but it seems to know a lot about DeLoreans.
Some say:
- It has a penchant for hypenating everything, due to a phobia of the space bar
- It needs 2 usernames to accommodate it's "supersized personality"
- It has polished aluminium feet and stainless steel fingers
All we know is that it is called "Admin-bloke"
Yes - the plan is to have another "mini-meet" at *a hotel* in October or November, and also in March, before the main event in June 2010, which has 20 DeLoreans booked already. We'll work out the Oct/Nov dates in a month or so, and post something up then. I expect Glen will be arranging something else for this year as well
