Small car lift? Worth it?

Postby TristanC » Tue Dec 04, 2018 9:53 pm

I’ve always fancied a car lift - but I doubt I’ll ever own a garage that could accommodate a 4 poster mostly due to the height and space required.....

So what about the smaller lifts that essentially you drive over, then the ramps (with addition of rubber posts) lift the car up at each sill?

Like this one:

Or if anyone has ideas on other types I’d be interested.
I’m not in the market for one right now BTW - just curious as it’s certainly something I’d be looking into in the near future.

I have something similar to this, bought it to do my ‘frame off’ brilliant bit of kit

I have a full size 2 post lift similar to Julian's but I always liked the look of the MaxJax lifts for anyone who has height restrictions. The fact they are portable also means you could share it if you're not planning to use it regularly, you'd just need a second bolt anchoring kit.
