Where is your inertia located? Mine is to the side near where the hood lever is. Im guessing thats the recall location as the switch also has a painted white spot on it

LOL.... There is an old chap around here who drives some old Ford from early 1900's if not earlier and chatting with him he drives it every day...and rarely has problems.

I love driving the "D" simply as it makes me smile.... and it makes others smile... Maybe I need to get over my "no drivey in the wet" complex.

Only time i wont drive the car is when there is salt on the road. I enjoy driving the car even if its just for 20 odd miles to keep everything moving. I try to drive it every couple of days. Heavy downpours have only stopped me driving when im about to leave the house. Ive been caught out a couple of times whilst i have been out though and its been fine.

Im still in the process of restoration so things are gonna crop up on me but generally in the 5 or so mohths ive been driving the D, this is the first time its happened really (im not counting the clutch slave failure as it happened on my drive and was bound to go). Ive done a few 300 mile trips in one day and its been sweet as a nut.

Im under the impression, the more its used, the more reliable it will be.
