One thing i enjoy going for a drive late at night is that there are no other drivers about. Also, the car photographs really well at night

I changed the front speakers today. Turns out my craigs are in pretty damn good condition. Still needed changing to something with a better sound quality even if its slightly better. I went with alpines from halfrauds. Rears will need doing at some point which im not looking forward to doing but they can wait.

I also think ive finally sorted that pesky door ajar problem on the passenger side. The light still flickers occasionally when i turn left but at least its not always on now.
Since upgrading the binnacle lights to LEDs the brake light was always creeping on. I found that was down to the rubber handbrake cover pressing down slightly on the handbrake switch. Another little annoyance now sorted.

Everytime im spotted out and about, im confused with the other 2 owners nearby with the FNP plate. I know, because those owners message me
Anytime you see a delorean in essex with the FNP plate, just assume its me. I drive my car often possibly more than both other said owners combined. Ive actually got myself a couple of nice routes now.

Why not. Tbh one of my routes is the A130, then A12 to witham a d back again. The routes allow me to use the car at variable speeds so it gets a decent run

As someone who got zero history with my car besides a title, ive been wanting to do a journal of sorts. Its only now that ive realised how i want to chronicle my ownership.
I have another journal where i can write mine and the cars journey from buying the car, the restoring process and everything in between. Now i have this nice leather bound one where i will add photos (i know, who prints photos anymore) with a brief description to go with them. I thought that this would be a nice little thing for the next owner (which wont be for a long time) and i think its a nice personal touch for the cars history other than receipts. There was a time that if you bought a classic car, you would inherit loads of photographs too (ok not always). Well thats a nice touch that is pretty much dead now as people dont tend to print the photos as they stay on a hard drive somewhere.
Does anyone have some other suggestions as to what i could include? Maybe if i stay somewhere i could include a hotel matchbook (or something along those lines).
