Tell me about it. I have to keep reminding myself that if i went with my original plan on getting a decent one within the UK, I wouldnt even be in the market for one till at least july. So im still getting the dream alot earlier (plus I can ease up on all that overtime I was having to do).

Hopefully I can have the car at a pretty decent level in time for the big june meet up.

Don't ease up on the overtime, you will need the money for spare parts and alcohol

Vessel is now about a day away from docking at barcelona and tracking is now showing as arriving at felixstowe on the 12th. Getting really exciting now.

Wont be long and ill be contacted by the clearing agent and then organising a collection day.

Exciting! With mine, the customs clearing was the frustrating bit. They moved at the pace of typical customs people. Do they not realize people waiting for Deloreans are like kids on Christmas Eve!

Paperwork has already been done so all that should happen now is the clearing agents say how much i have to pay them, then pay up and then i arrange collection. They said that the day they unload the car, as long as the paperwork and duties are paid, is the day i can collect the car.

But yeah, us brits do love our red tape. I do hope its a smooth quick transitition. If it does indeed dock on the 12th, i plan to collect on the 15th. Ive booked 2 weeks off work starting on the 15th and i plan on getting it road legal, MOT'd etc within that time frame (barring the actual registering as i know that could take a couple of weeks). All depends how honest BHCC have been with me really.

Just received an original tech manual. A cheap eBay purchase. I don't think my car has any original documentation with it, so I will be on the look out for more original stock.

So if anyone has anything they wish to be parted from, please let me know

Well, erm, that's not original, although granted the cover looks a little bit like the original manuals (originals were just "DMC"), and certainly it's old :) . No idea what the "A" is about, a defunct club I presume. What's inside it? Copies of both the small techincal manual and the parts manual?
