Im sure many here know of the film thats due to release mid August, but what are your thoughts?

I feel this film will probably do more damage than good. As owners and enthusiasts of the car it will just be pure OTT entertainment, but to others it will fuel more myths and half truths. Like we need more myths to debunk! I also get the impression that this film will do better than framing john delorean which if it does is a real shame.

Either way, im intrigued and will watch it. The poster dropped today and i like it. Its got a GTA vibe to it. Dont really like the tagline though.

It feels like its a spoof but done seriously.

I’m looking forward to seeing it. There are plenty of documentaries about John and the car that one can watch if one is looking for accurate information. I think it’s great that we’re finally getting a DeLorean movie. Will it be 100% accurate? Probably not, and I’m perfectly fine with that. Was Bohemian Rhapsody or Sully 100% accurate? Nope, and I enjoyed them both. Driven is about entertainment, not education.
