Not new but pretty cool if you haven't seen it - looks a decent job

Did you make any modifications sir...….
"errr just a few"....

It does look spectacuarly well done and I am impressed its fitted around the steering column so well. Looking at his narrow garage I think he needs the remote control to get the car out, even with gull wing doors.

Its nice to see folk keeping them original but its also so nice to see people pioneering and not afraid to make it into something they want. I think with electric motors and battery capacities its a whole new generation of modifications potentially on the horizon.

Yeah I reckon classic electric conversion will be the norm in a few years. Some of the ones that have been done to date are pretty decent already

If I'm "forced" to put an electric motor in the D to be able to drive it, I'm selling it/ donating it to a museum.

That's a fair point, I was thinking voluntarily folk doing it. But yes could there be a time when its a no no to drive a combustion engine ?

I cant see it happening in our lifetime to be honest. If you can still smoke and drive a 100 year old car.

I recall there was a chap who made a STEAM powered land rover, now that would be a D conversion to be proud of. Mr Fusion becomes a little chimney.
