Yes I will be gutting it for spares. Not bothered about the mileage they can do half a million those engines, and its from an automatic volvo so probably not be abused much. The K-jet will be handy spares as well. Carl's already claimed the coolant tank off it.

Don't forget to get any ecu's from it too.

Being tight, also gut the fuses, relays, lamps etc and then try selling spares on ebay i.e. £10 lamp lens etc.......£5wheel etc

Dan are you going to pull the whole engine? Or just take bits and bobs and then tow it to a scrap yard?

I'd be interested in the venturi/metering head etc if you don't have plans for those...

Hi Gez, I think Alastair is after those bits. I don't know what I'm doing yet. I planned to keep the engine and the injection system together so I could run the engine from time to time while in storage, but if people need bits then of course it will be stripped down to help.

I'm going to get the car on wednesday after work, I'll have a good look at it and then we can discuss it at the weekend.

Well gentlemen, here it is. Its pretty damn mint! It starts easily and sounds smooth, nice idle speed, no smoke. The CO on the emissions is spot on 2%.

Heated leather seats, aircon, sunroof, electric windows and mirrors, and it all works!
