Thanks to the guy's at DMCS
Posted: Thu Aug 29, 2019 9:35 amI would like to send a huge message of thanks to Daniel Knowlton, Alistair Vanstone, Julian, and Nick T (on telephone support) of the Delorean Club UK, for the amazing work they did on my D over the Bank Holiday weekend. It had been checked in to DMCS for what originally was to be the recommissioning of the A/C. In preparation for this visit the team also agreed to replace my shocks, and take a look at my completely non-functioning hand brake. The guys went beyond the call of duty to diagnose and fix pressure issues with the A/C that turned out to be a wrongly wired connector to one of the fans which we can only think must have been done when originally built in Dunmurray. All this time the two fans had been blowing in opposite directions. How I ever got to Hamburg recently in 40 degree temperatures without overheating is anyone's guess. In addition the guys tell me, and I certainly agree, that I must now have the best functioning hand brake of any DeLorean anywhere. It's awesome! The new Spax shocks also give a more comfortable ride rather than the bone shaker it was on uneven roads previously. I cannot thank the team enough and it reinforces what a great club we have. Thank you.
