Yeah, that was a big problem for me. I replaced mine with new carpet foam and it made a massive difference.

Its the smell of Fiberglass cars from the 80's. A Few of my Esprits used to have a similar smell.

Thats one of the reasons I got my Delorean all those years ago !

Oh well, at least that is a bit better than the usual rat piss and stinky fuel smell lol.

my car smells ok . but check under the dashboard .

The smell can be sourced to the rear engine wall and wheel arches as mentioned above. Replacing those and following up with an Ozone machine treatment will go a long way in reducing/removing that smell.

Tell me about it, i have installed new carpets, new dash all trimming has been replaced,all new roof lining , mr begg installed new seat covers. so there is nothing left in there of the original interior and the fricking thing still smells like a delorean when you open the door. the ONLY thing the smell could possibly come from is the foam seat pad. that is all i can put it down to as it is the only thing i haven't replaced.
