Door strut mount repair kit

Unfortunately, I have to wait to order, here in France I did not received any mail since a month....

I just ordered one kit, and choose "Air Tracked Parcel" to keep an eye on the order.
Let's cross my finger to receive the parts...

I wish I knew these would be back in stock. The response I received indicated these would probably not be back. I had to go another route.

I checked my passenger side today and thats worse than my drivers side. I need to get this done soon.

Did you buy the one from D industries? Personally i dont really like that one.

I made my own, based on a kit that was available years ago. I still need to add some silicone sealer and paint it. I was able to finally get my doors to match when they are open. The drivers door used to hang roughly 3.5 inches lower than the passenger door, all because of a slightly bent mount!

Someone named Hennigan used to sell a similar kit years ago. Since he closed shop a few of us have made our own. It’s a great option for those who have cracked fiberglass around their mount.

I'd like to see how the backing bolt plate is installed on the stainless ones they look great.
