So anyone who has a registration date of Jan 1981, yes you can get it registered as historic, but the V5 will come back saying the vehicle was made in 1980

V5 also needs to have historic written in the tax class under changes section, and signed at the bottom. Insurance cover note not required here, but think I read somewhere it is in NI ?
V112 is only needed if your MOT has run out, otherwise you don't need to bother.
I suspect yours will come back the same as mine and the others - 1980 as the manufacture year. So if you don't mind that then go ahead, but I know some people will wait until next April so that doesn't get changed.
