I can well believe that. I would guess that there are a lot of people/experience/parts required right here in the UK to do a good RHD over here. It's a shame all the Wooler-Hodec cars were (mainly) based on the cars that "failed as left hand drives"

Also if they think it'll be easy to sell new build cars of any flavour over here they've got a nasty surprise in store. (Edit: Assuming Japan and/or Australia isn't the target...)
Wrong hand drive is mechanically fairly simple - the pedal box is really the only tough bit as far as getting a working tester like that.
I would hazard that they uncovered some original Wooller Hodec components - not that that is any guarantee of respectibility!
Not the UK - no. The "story" I heard was Japan, as you say.
I would guess that the "hand built" nature of the LHD cars they are producing means that the cost differences in RHD and LHD is probably fairly minimal, and probably not too much "risk".
