When cold, that's quite normal - I set them up like that but there're other schools of thaught.

Your Volvo doesn't have a lambda system.

Oooh I see. So really the lambda systems starves the engine of power and makes it idle like a pile of crap!!

Daniel!!! it was a unique design feature that Delorean tried to incorperate into every car that would lead the new owner into believeing the car had a personality, a bit like Herbie!!! thats why my one is called C@#t car, mine hunts, don't starts, then starts when you unlock the doors, loses 3rd gear, wipers don't park, rev counter eratic, just to name a few little unique features that makes my car shit.............I mean mine. I love it!!!

Hunting is too rich a mixture setup usually coupled with idle speed control valve not giving a fast idle (volvo would probably use an auxiliary air valve anyway).

The hunting can be adjusted out with the brass screws to reduce the proportionate gain of the movement of the idle speed control valve due to the slow reactance of the idle ecu and i obtained a fast idle by adding a 10k ohm resistor in series with the coolant temp sensor....oh and I also set the fuel mixture to spec.
