about time I got a new phone.....

Postby Admin-bloke » Sun May 02, 2010 12:26 pm

Well friends it's about time I dragged myself into this decade and treat myself to a new phone....

I tend to use the app called "talking to friends" but after everyone had a laugh at my now "retro" phone I thought it is time to treat myself to a new one.

I am currently on poor-as-you-go on orange and looking to transfer my number to Vodafone (bettter network up here).

I am thinking of treating myself to an iPhone so can anyone recommend a good place to get a contract etc....
If I am going to get a smartphone/ iPhone then I would like a turn by turn navigation map solution on it (in case my tom tom packs up), has anyone used OviMaps from Nokia before???

Thanks in advance my benefitting chums........

lol.

OK - you can get the TomTom app for the iPhone. A "bargain" at only £59.99.

Transferring your number for Vodafone is not a problem, but there is no choice regarding contracts - you have to go through Vodafone. Either pay more for the phone and less for the contract, or the other way around. £189 up front then £25 per month for ever, or nothing up front and £45 per month for ever (plus some more options inbetween).

Expensive - yes - but there is no other phone worth considering.
