The pickup frame was too long so I cut some of it out:



Once that was done I needed to support the body where I could reasonably do test fitting and other detail work for mating the two bits together. I opted to suspend it from the bottom of my loft.


and here is what it looks like at the moment. Things that still need to be accomplished before I can begin attaching the body to the frame and making supports are few but significant. The drivetrain needs to move back about 8-10 inches, the frame rails will need to be cut down on each end and I will need to modify the fiberglass to accept the rise in the frame for the axle hump. Nothing insurmountable but a fair amount of work just the same.
