For anything else not specifically DeLorean related....

Ken Block does it again. Makes the Stig look a Sunday driver

Postby Chris Hawes » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:35 pm

You may remember seeing Ken Block on Top Gear taking James May 'skiing' in an Impreza!

Now KB has part of San Francisco closed off where he takes a 600BHP+ Fiesta that can do 0-60 in 1.8 seconds on a little Sunday drive.

Maybe I'm the only one un-impressed.

Getting anything with more than 50HP airborne in SF is easy. With 600HP in a perfectly balanced rally car, the trick is not hitting low flying planes, I would imagine. Having a handbrake lever as big as your arm (presumably semi-auto with allsorts of electonic gubbins attached to it) seems like cheating imho.

It implies that it is one continuous hoon, when obviously it is a series of staged 30 second hoons edited together - tyres wouldn't last that long anyway.

And where are all the people!!! Day or night, there are always people out walking about.
