Wine, my other passion, a DeLorean Owner Wine Offer

Postby jamesrguk » Thu Jan 30, 2014 10:48 am

So I decided to combine my passion for both wine and classic cars earlier in the year and the wine business which I run took out an advert in Practical Classics magazine.

Certainly not the usual place for a wine advert, but none the less my thinking was that if people’s classic cars were snuggled up in the warm then perhaps the owners would like to be snuggled up in the warm with a delicious bottle or two of fine red wine.

We have a particular winery which we ship from every year in the Languedoc, right in the south of France close to Montpellier, making wines predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 2014 marks our 11th year of shipping from the estate and we agreed a special deal for readers of PC magazine (and by virtue any DeLorean Club members)

It really is an excellent wine and a great deal which I negotiated with Bruno Le Breton at Domaine Le Jasse especially for classic car & wine enthusiasts, it has to be good, my reputation in the DeLorean community would be crushed if not!

For my tasting notes and additional information on the wine click the link below.

Ah yes, my other soft spot next to the DeLorean... Wine.... I here in the states dream of the day that I can retire and start my own vineyard. But in the mean time for the past 3 years I have been importing in my own grape juice from chili for fermentation here in the states. So by all means I guess generically I'm still 'making' my own wine. Perhaps next round, (if all goes well, and obviously the taste must concur) I will make a small batch labeled the DMC-12?
Shouldn't have sold the dream.

That would be great, obviously you'll have to ferment only in stainless steel!
