Nice one Mec, is there a discussion anywhere about this car, maybe on pistonheads?

Looks like the owners are trying to reap some shameless profiteering !

It's rare that I actually burst out laughing at my screen when in my public office. Even the biting of my gums didn't work this time

Check out one of his latest reviews:

I run a science fiction convention circuit out of Surrey. We hired this Back to the Future car for two events. While the car is quite nice, it comes with a few caveats. The first is the owner is a bit of the aggressive nature. He does some proud work with the car for charities, but is a tad pushy when it comes to payment. He misrepresents the actual car. If one were to believe his advertisements, you would think this is one of the real cars used by Universal Studios in the states. It is not true. This is not an official anything. It is a replica built by Sean Bishop and Jay Ryan and a nicely made one at that. But do not think it is one of the real cars used in the trilogy. That is fiction created by the owner to garnish wages. You might overpay the way we did. The car was not sold to him by Universal Studios. It's a lie. Take a look at the Back to the Future trilogy release and you can see the original replica owner talking about the car in the behind the scenes. Overall, the current owner is a nice chap with a cherry ride. But it's sad that he must misrepresent it.

Company response : I have not appeared for this person with the car at a sifi convention, this car is from Universal Studios Hollywood, photos, video and paperwork to confirm this, He has got me confused with some other owner who makes these claims.
