Im in the process of doing the same and have narrowed it down to these few (all for business use so email etc was needed)

- Nokia N97 (to be released this month) has 32gb memory and keyboard, 5mp camera with carl something lens which is the same as my N95.

- I-phone - didnt like the way I cant bluetooth photos to other phones though and that the GPS was not turn by turn (according to the sales guy) Also dont like the camera and no flash.

- Another Nokia N95/N96 - Currently have the N95 and its a great phone, great camera, does everything and provided its not on orange with their unstable software its ok.

- HTC Touch Pro2 - Again with the slide out keyboard - gets good reviews.

- Blackberry curve - mate has one and swears by it but Im not keen on the camera.

- Nokia E71/E75 - apparently the same basic phone but the E75 looks more like a "normal" phone with hidden keyboard and normal number keypad on front as opposed to the E71 blackberry type.

Or if you want the only HD camera phone with amazing screen the:
Samsung 8910i Omnia HD with 8mb camera, touchscreen and HD video camera.

For reviews of all the following and others check out the following:

and here:

and here:

So far I think its between the N97 and the E75/71
Also appreciate anyone elses advice on any of the above or to disprove my I-phone drawbacks as I really like the phone.

Sorry but iPhone every time :D ...A few people told me they thought the iPhone was crap but guess what they ended up getting one :)

Yes it is expensive but as in life you get what you pay for. Proper sat nav software is now available and also TomTom to follow soon :)

Thats good news on the Tom Tom. Does it have an inbuilt GPS receiver or does it work though the network signal.

What about the I-phones camera especially for low light pictures. At the minute the N95 i use doubles as a camera for all occasions and Its caught many memories that I would have thought a camera with no flash and lower quality could match.

Dont get me wrong, Ive been pining for an i-phone since release but was stuck on orange. Its only now that I can choose that after looking the specs and playing with one in shop it seems like a very good ipod with a medium quality phone attached as opposed to a top end phone with Ipod.

Also the bluetooth. Can you bluetooth photos to other phones. Seems minor but how many times have I been out with friends and either had a photo bluetoothed to me or after taking one bluetoothed to someone else. i know I can multimeda or email it but seems like a shortcoming if bluetooth is already on the phone.

Im really hoping that Il be proven wrong on all the above :-)

For all the Iphone users out there what are the drawbacks of it.
