I never met Mike, or got to know him at all, but any news of anyone dying, especially within such a close-knit community as how the DeLorean community is, it's always sad news indeed. I'm very sorry to hear we have all lost another like-minded, like-souled DeLorean enthusiast. Thoughts with his loved ones at this time.

My best thoughts to Mike's family at this time.

I First met Mike shortly before his first Delorean was used in Ashes to Ashes, he was a great guy who I got to know through the years. It's a horrible feeling knowing you will never see someone again, one of lads who I am going to miss. Rest in peace :dmcdoors:

I'm very shocked & sadded to hear this News. Mike made me very welcome at all the Eurotec Events in England. My thoughts are with his Family at this time.

I first met Mike back in 2006 at Donington race track where he was showing his DeLorean along with 2 other DOC members (Claire and Phil)

He was the DOC secretary at the time and I was the web editor, so we had plenty to chat about regarding the direction of the club and website.
But most importantly, as said by everyon here, he was such a gent and the banter was brilliant.

He then gave me my first and only ride in a DeLorean for numerous laps around Donnington, which I have lots of footage for!!

Here's a pic at Donington - making sure those tyres are blacked up :)

I have been asked to collate as many memories as possible to pass onto one of his brothers to try and work something into the funeral so feel free to post anything you can think of.

Some really nice ones we could forward already

It's likely to be a day next week, will know by Wednesday.

Here's a video I uploaded just the other day from a DOC AGM back in 2006 when Mike was secretary.
You can see Mike at around 2:31 into the video.
Hopefully there may be something there that his family may like to use or even just to view.
