It was a complete honour knowing Mike over the years. He helped me with my Delorean more than what most friends from school had done in general over the years. We naturally got on extremely well with our shared BTTF obsession. I was probably in contact with Mike more than anyone over the last year or so due to some personal issues which I don't think would be right to share here without his mums permission.
The moment I knew something wasn't quite right was when he once again went off the radar around mid April when he didn't want to come meet all the BTTF cast in London. The moment I knew it was
very serious was when I didn't even receive a text or call on that milestone Oct 21st date, something we both had looked forward to and discussed for years.
I sit here typing this message in complete disbelief, and extremely saddened. I didn't sleep very well last night, and only wish he had contacted me to allow me to be the true friend he clearly needed. I don't know any details at all yet, whether it was an accident, an illness, or if something was too much for him, but I'm hoping Chris will share his mums email with me so that I can help arrange things with her and keep everyone in the loop.
A severely terrible ending to what would have been a great Christmas break. Here are a few photos from a brilliant event where a few of us met up in Leeds, and our Time Machines Timmy and Tommy met for the first time
Even here, after a hail storm, he didn't sit out and helped us wipe our cars down.
