It's called "vinyl wrapping" - and did it strike anyone else how much easier and potentially long lasting that'd be on the black parts of the fascias......

when I worked for a van hire company a customer of ours got their Ford Connect vans wrapped in vinly to promote their business.

Aswell as being longlasting and protecting paintwork from light stone chips etc... you can have whatever you want printed on the vinyl prior to application.

Cool! That's gotta be the cheapest/quickest way of doing a BTTF conversion!

"That's aluminium right?"

"No, thats a plastic body with extremely expensive stainless steel wrapped in immensely cheap plastic".

"So its plastic?"

"No, is a plastic body with stainless steel wrapped in plastic"

"Like I said, plastic"

"Yeah, with stainless steel in between"

"Wrapped in plastic..."

"Bugger off".
