#FINISHED - 2011 DeLorean EuroTec Weekend - 24th June 2011

OK - I delighted to confirm the attendance of Roger Jarman for the entire weekend. For those that don't know Roger was Chief Buyer (chassis parts - everything on a rolling chassis) for DMC and was based in Coventry.

He will be doing a talk about his work after dinner on the Friday night, and fielding any questions you might have, so get thinking! On Saturday after/during dinner he plans to auction a very rare prototype part off for charity - so you could get a bargain here!

A/C recharge.. Hmmm. if your a/c man can refill R413a (yes four-one-three-a) I am up for it on the event..

And I am seriously considering having my windscreen replaced on the premises.. I will need to get on the phone with Ed tomorrow to see if he has time to make this possible, but he would have to bring in all the stuff. I haven't found the time to go to his shop these last weeks, and maybe he feels like doing it in the UK. Maybe there are other options?

If it cannot be done on the premises (e.g. weatherproofing or no flat surface), it would kind of defeat the purpose. I already mailed Ed with my plan, and if it cannot be done during Eurotec i will do it at his place some weekend afterwards. Don't know anything about specialist tools though.. Thanks for checking.

Just got word from Ed, says he's out of windscreens, and new ones will be available in 6 weeks. Problem solved.
