Flights are very reasonable at the moment.

We need to confirm who is flying from Stansted on the Thurs and returning on the Sun.

I recken my car could do the journey on 2 tanks each way !! ;) i did belgium on 1, lets hope its running ok by then !

Yeah. I don't think theres much point in a top gear race from stanstead, even after they mess about with baggage and getting a hire car the other end they will still beet us.

That does not include the fuel consumption from the flatbed then.

Hmm... I could be tempted by this one, especially as Luxembourg is looking increasingly unlikely now... :(

What kind of cost are we talking about roughly all in between driving Vs flying??

I mean obviously flying will be cheaper, plus then more el vino can flow!!! :D

Sorry I've been a bit quiet of late guys... hope I haven't missed the boat (well, the plane) on this one?...

Plane is £99 including taxes and charges from Stansted. Car hire won't be too bad. Accommodation will be roughly £60 total, plus £60 for the "event" (includes most food)
