Hecky ... so many cars so little time ...

Just finalising the other car that we need ...once thats done all will be revealed !

Needless to say this 'part' of the EuroTec suprise is all down to a very valued club member and we thank him for thinking about us with this !

CRITICAL UPDATE

Failure is not an option! All ideas welcome. As mentioned all we need is something that looks vaguely like one of the many crap PRV powered cars to attend Norfolk on Saturday (5th June) morning.

We can now consider the "wrong" Volvo estate if it looks close enough.... No need for an engine to even be present (perhaps)

There is money involved. Not sure of the budget, but it should be "enough"

Hay arran follow up to our phone call earlier i went back round to see the guy tonight about that 740 v reg and he wasnt there but i will go back round tomorrow.right shape but with boot wrong engine i know. it could be a good alternitive though. and we are also following up another lead should have a answer eather way tomorrow figers crossed .

Right lads, if you can get a volvo 760 with a V6 engine in but the newer type, we can rip out all the gear off the top of it and stand the inlet manifold, ram horns, venturi etc off my volvo on it so to the casual viewer it would look the same.

It's just dawned on me after dans post that I have all the Volvo parts to make it look "right". It seems a shame for dan to mess about with an engine that he wants to put in his car as something is bound to break. I'll take a picture of what I have tonight and post it up if this is the way we are going now.

I also have a shed load of spare bolts, brackets, thingamabobs and a pair of (non spax) front shocks which are in quite good nick, but i don't think you need a picture of all that lot

For the purposes of what we need, I am now told/reminded that only a full car with the correct engine will do.

However some of your bits may be useful at EuroTec for spares?
