I'll have a dyno run next year as I will have the volvo in by then.

Hopefully my car will be running a little better by then so I'll shove it on the Dyno, somone's got to fly the flag for the auto box!

Al your readings were really high for a stock motor with performance exhaust TT

Ask Gez. He was told with his fueling the way it was it would cause damage. But without the dyno run he would have never known

A point very well made Matt

Although I was pleased to see the hp reading was good, it was the fuelling I was more happy about, when Mark said it was 'cock on' I thought ok great.about time something went right!! then NickT cast his eye over the graph and chuckled ' one of the many'!!

I put the decent reading down to Nick T setting the primary pressure etc, and me fitting new vac hoses plugs, leads, cap and coil, over the last 6 mths.

But going back to what Matt says, there is no way that Gez would have known without a dyno run...and he had another run after replacing fuel distributor etc and gained 14 hp I think.

Plus next year we can see Dan Stacey with a Volvo engine plus freeflow, Matt with those carbs etc, TT with his turbo, JRG with an auto with Volvo fuelling, Carl H with an auto and Volvo engine.

Plus, i'll be on the dyno to check my stats for comparison. Measure up my manual / custom exhaust / volvo setup versus standard volvo engine + FF.
