Indeedie! I like the lightening quick reaction times. You should have done a Top Gear style driver swap as well - to eliminate any doubt!

Who did your Volvo fuelling conversion then Gez?

Who did the Volvo fuelling - me, Dan and Chris S. It was a basically a temp fix at Eurotec to stop the engine exploding due to running over-lean.

Here are the full details from mine and Dan's best runs:

Dan:
Reaction 0.33
60ft 2.37
330ft 6.72
1/8 ET 10.37
1/8 MPH 66.23
1000' ET 13.56
1000' MPH 76.29
1/4 ET 16.26
1/4 MPH 83.03

Gez:
Reaction 0.36
60ft 2.29
330ft 6.81
1/8 ET 10.61
1/8 MPH 63.94
1000' ET 13.97
1000' MPH 72.90
1/4 ET 16.81
1/4 MPH 79.82

Again, this was into a strong headwind. Would be interested to see if the cars would go half a second quicker on a still day...

What's also interesting is that I was running Dynolicious on my iPhone on a few runs. Here's what the app gave me:

Gez (Dynolicious)
Reaction -
60ft 2.55
330ft 6.88
1/8 ET 10.49
1/8 MPH 68.9
1000' ET 13.6
1000' MPH 78.2
1/4 ET 16.22
1/4 MPH 86.3

0-60MPH 8.27

What's interesting about the Dynolicious results is that they seem fairly accurate up to the 330ft mark and not too far out at the 1/8 mile - but it becomes less accurate after 10 seconds of running. Which might actually mean the 0-60 time is reasonably accurate...

And here's my little vid to commemorate the occasion...

Gutted that the GoPro camera I had (the awesome interior shot where you see out of both side window and windscreen) ran out of battery 30 seconds before the start... :(

Would be nice to bring down all the kit another time and do a proper Top Gear job (rather than filming on a crap digital stills camera blu-tacced to the binnacle)!

Wow Gez! You're wasted on here - you should be a film producer or something!
