Just spoke to Chris Dredge at Santa Pod. All the free tickets have gone now but any DeLoreans who still want to come are very welcome. I've managed to blag myself a vehicle pass meaning I can drive anywhere I want round there, but apparently if you sign up for the RWYB (Run What You Brung) then it renders the vehicle pass irrelevant anyway.

Santa Pod Circa 1985, I was 19 just built my first 930 Turbo Porsche, cost me £15 with a logbook for a totalled car, spent 2 years and about £5K to put it back together.

13.2 sec on the strip terminal at 128mph!

How things have changed, The teenage yoof of today couldn't change a spark plug!

Awesome pics Darren! Did you rebuild the car to stock or did you do some cleverness to it? 1/4 mile speed of 128mph seems pretty extraordinary!

As for the Retro Show, Dan and I are going down on Sunday, and are going to be doing a DeLorean face/off on the strip. Possibly the first in UK history?! Come, join us, film it!
