Holy Thread resurrection Batman.
I was just looking through some old threads and came across this one - which mentioned the problem of turning over the engine to set valve clearances - pushing it etc etc.
One method I use as my car is up on blocks, is to clamber underneath - there is a slot in the bellhousing and I used a large screwdriver and leverage on the teeth of the flywheel to turn the engine VERY accurately. I believe there is a dedent on the cog to show TDC too?
