As in Stuart Nichols is a DMCH Stage 2? And who's Rich J? I thought Manxmann had the only other running turbo at the moment (and he's not on the mainland :D )

Rich Johnstone

Its a turbo based in Welwyn Garden City I think, and he usually attends all meets, not sure if he is coming next week?...its a R25 turbo, similar to Manx.

There is another turbo somewhere, cant think where it is...but Stuart Pennington imported the car and sold it on again.

I am sure I remember Martin saying that 'Frenchy' has different cams and Volvo fuelling.

Not sure what "brand" of "Stage 2" but certainly performance cams.

Rich J - you've seen him

Third one in - next to Jonny Jones:

His is a twin turbo as well, and "running" is not entirely accurate, but it certainly does now and then. He'll be at the mini meet (not with his car).

Also Tony Lawther *did* have a RHD single turbo I think.

And who is this? I think it's UK?:

On your car? Vacuum comes from the inlet manifold via a 1-way valve.

Google up how to test brake servo.

I think it is:

With engine off, press brake pedal a few times to discharge any vacuum (yes basic terminology)
Hold left foot on brake pedal and press down like you are gently braking.
Start engine and rev it to 2000 revs.
Brake pedal should move down slightly.
If it does then the vacuum is working.
This is only a basic test and won't show up and pinpricks in the servi diaphragm........
